Yoga for Holistic Weight Release Workshop Autumn Series LIVE Online

On Spinal Health 

October 18 - December 9, 2020 (with Thanksgiving Break)

Sundays 10am-11:30am PST

Wednesdays 3:45pm-5pm PST

 

Facilitators: 

-Greta Recinto, ERYT specializing in Therapeutic Yoga, Vinyasa & Meditation and will be co-leading the workshop sessions

-Richelle Kristi, ERYT, NBA/WNBA pro dancer and Yoga Teacher will be co-leading the workshop sessions 

-Grace Lorenzo, ERYT will also be leading Yoga for Acupressure

 

If you battle weight in mind and body join us in our Autumn Series - a 6 weeks journey learning to manage stress through building strength and flexibility with yoga, movement and meditation.   We will also work through creating healthy habits, building trust in yourself with support, accountability and community on and off your mat.  

 

 Our Autumn Series Workshop will focus on the central role of the Spine to build and maintain a happy and healthy back.  

 

EACH WORKSHOP SESSION, YOU WILL EXPERIENCE:

  • Yoga + Meditation, a movement weaving in weekly themes and intention (75 mins) 
  • Journaling and group discussion + community support
  • Weekly activities to promote measurable benefits to help deliver results

ONLINE (STREAMING) WORKSHOP WITH GRETA: FINE TUNE YOUR PRACTICE WITH PROPS 

SATURDAY, JUNE 6TH, 2020 - 1:00 - 2:00 PM

 

In this workshop, we will work in innovative ways to use props in:

  • Sun Salutation A & B
  • Standing & Balancing Poses
  • Backbends
  • Inversions & Arm Balances
  • Yin & Restorative Poses

Using props in your asana practice will give you more freedom, mobility and strength to move optimally and gracefully. It can open you up to learn new things and keep your mind engaged in your practice.

No yoga props at home? No worries! We will also cover how to use household items as props, too!

For this workshop, you’ll want to have handy:

  • a strap (e.g. belt, bathrobe belt, mat carrying strap, etc.)
  • 2 blocks (e.g. stacks of books, Tupperware container, etc)
  • a bolster (or pillow)
  • a chair

Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, "Love Yourself Yoga" is coming to you!  For the month of February, enjoy a special morning Vinyasa class designed for all levels to build strength, energy and power. An athletic-inspired power yoga where postures flow from one to another connected by breath to get you hot and sweaty.  This class includes dynamic variations to strengthen all abilities. 



Life Inner Vision with Guided Meditation Workshop

Saturday - February 24, 2018

 

In this workshop, we will start by exploring yoga postures to awaken and strengthen Manipura, the third chakra also known in the west as the solar plexus chakra.  The 'Energy' chakra is associated with our will-power, commitment and determination.

 

Then we will go through a guided meditation to envision our intentions and goals.  We will end with creating vision boards to take home, knowing that, what we focus on grows!
